The mission of Abraham Low Self-Help Systems is to
use the cognitive-behavioral, peer-to-peer, self-help training system developed by Abraham Low, MD, to help individuals gain skills to lead more peaceful and productive lives. The organization
meets this mission by providing mental health self-help groups Recovery International community, telephone and online meetings, The Power to Change for Schools and The Power to Change for Corrections. Abraham Low Self-Help Systems is a merger of Recovery International and The Abraham Low Institute. The Abraham Low Institute was founded in 1989 and developed The Power to Change for Schools and The Power to Change for Corrections. NORTH INLAND MEETINGS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!

Due to continuing low attendance at our monthly 2nd Tues Escondido educational evening meetings we will not be scheduling meetings until further notice. Over the past two years despite good speakers on a variety of topics there does not appear to be the interest there once was among North Inland members. However, our support groups are very well attended and we are happy to continue these. There is an educational meeting on the 1st Thurs of each month in San Diego and a NAMI North Coastal meeting in Carlsbad on the 3rd Thurs of each month. We do plan to host our annual family picnic in June and other special events through the year. Thank you to those faithful members who helped each month with our evening meeting, without you we would not have been able to provide this service. Should there be a renewed interest we will reintroduce the speaker night.
